Warm Weather Oatmeal

Serves 1

1 Cup of old fashion Oatmeal
A handful of Raisins
A handful of Walnuts coarsely chopped or broken into bits
1 Cup of Water

 

Combine Oatmeal, Raisins and Walnuts in a bowl, mix together, add the water and let sit overnight. In the morning, add fresh fruit (Blueberries or Apples and fantastic), some fresh ground flaxseed (optional) and some non dairy milk.

The Oats provide fiber that will help your digestional tract, the Walnuts and Flaxseed provide Omega 3 fatty acids and the fruit and Raisins provide many nutrients.
