
Salad with Lemon Tahni Dressing

Prepare a salad with lots of fresh veggies, such as Romaine Lettuce, Carrots, Cucumbers, Green Onions, Broccoli, Beets and Tomatoes.

Dressing:
1/2 Cup Tahini ( can be found i many health foods stores or middle eastern markets) Whisk everything together and pour over salad. Add enough water to make it your desired thickness. The fresh veggies are packed with phytochemicals, phytochemicals are every important in warding off all sorts of diseases. Scientists are discovering new phytochemicals all the time and they are finding all sorts of miracle cures that they produce. Typically the coloured veggies have more and different phytochemicals than just plain old Iceburg Lettuce, so next time you make a salad, make it colourful. |
