Hello and Welcome

Well another year is almost over, Christmas is coming up fast, where has the time gone.

I have been overwhelmed by the many thousands of visitors to this site, indeed one page in the computer section must be one of the most visited on the web.It being recommended by quite a few technical forums.

I still want it filled with what you want, even maybe what you need, from recipes to humour to relationships, from family to money to health and lots in between, in fact everything a woman wants to know.

I believe keeping it a continuous issue will be the best balance of your needs, as we build up our lists of recipes, humour and our computer needs, till we truly find out what you want.

What to expect

Honesty in how we handle our affairs, Fact in the way we present our stories even the difficult ones, the sometimes unpleasant ones, the stories on drugs and sexual health but these are sadly a fact of life and if with us presenting the facts and perhaps helping some to understand and to benefit from these stories then we shall feel proud.

We advise that the information given in our medical stories though totally factual is not meant as a diagnosis but for information purposes only, we can not stress to highly that for further information you seek expert medical advice.

We wish to share your experience and seek your stories on any of the subjects presented, perhaps your favourite joke, your funny story a handy woman tip, a recipe - we aim to present these from around the globe. Maybe you have a sad experience but one that may help others to understand and to benefit from your story.

As we build our computer section our aim is to make you self sufficient in purchasing, or building your own computer, to protect it on the internet, to give you the confidence as you surf the net, explain the pitfalls as you do, the risks of attacks and virus's and the hassles of chat rooms.

This being a global magazine weights and measures can prove difficult, as an aid we have included a conversion tool, this can be found in the Food and Handy Woman Sections, you can even keep this tool open as you surf the pages, just minimise and expand as required.

We shall be offering a Newsletter in due course that you may wish to subscribe to and keep yourself up to date on the latest stories.

As the need arises we will add more sections to cover the topics you require, so suggestions are most welcome. Our Site Poll will feature many different items to allow you to express your opinions on how you see the magazine and its contents, the quality of our stories the site layout etc. The Site News will keep you abreast of what is currently happening and what is planned for the future and include weekly statistics on the growth of our magazine.
